Our Clean Energy Systems can also utilize natural gas as fuel source.
The core of our advanced technology includes a fixed bed, linear downdraft gasifier subsystem that transforms biomass or other input materials into syngas through a proprietary gasification conversion technology.
The process of producing electrical and thermal energy as an output of 3i’s Clean Energy system involves feeding briquetted material via an automated fuel feeding system into the gasifier unit where a process heats the material to approximately 1,200°C thus ensuring near-complete thermochemical decomposition and transformation into syngas. Syngas emerging from the gasifier is cooled, conditioned and transitioned to the engine for use as fuel for the combustion process. The rotary force produced by the engines is used to drive the alternator component thus producing electrical energy. Excess heat produces by the system processes is captured and transitioned to heat exchangers for facility process or operation use.
As CO2 and emissions are captured and recirculated through the gasification process, the system produces negligible amounts of ash (<1%) and other impurities.
